Review:
This is the first book in this series and by this author
that I have read. I did enjoy this book and will now be going back to look for
the first one. I do not normally read paranormal books but when it comes to my
cozy mystery type books I am game for anything. It is interesting to read how
Baxley is learning to use her gift of communicating with dead people to help
solve this crime. This book held my attention from the first page. There are so
many Bubbas in this town that you will keep trying to guess which Bubba did it
as it could be more than one of them. I think the author does a good job of developing
the story and describing the scenes so you can feel as if you are part of this
story. The whole cast of characters are
very unique and interesting and it was fun getting to know them. I am looking
forward to reading more by this author.

Hi Cynthia! I started writing cozies with my Cleopatra Jones series, then I wrote a few standalones, all of which were very fun to compose. I decided to write this paranormal series because I wanted to explore an area that had fascinated me for a long time - life after death.
