Sleepless in Manhattan by Sarah Morgan - Review and Giveaway

I received this book in exchange for a fair and honest review

Published: May 31, 2016
Number of pages: 464
Genre: Chick-Lit Fiction, Romance
Series: From Manhattan With Love #1

Synopsis:
Cool, calm and competent, events planner Paige Walker loves a challenge. After a childhood spent in and out of hospitals, she’s now determined to prove herself—and where better to take the world by storm than in the exhilarating bustle of Manhattan? But when Paige is let go from the job she loves, she must face her biggest challenge of all—going it alone.

Except launching her own events company is nothing compared to hiding her outrageous crush on Jake Romano—her brother’s best friend, New York’s most in-demand date, and the only man to break her heart. When Jake offers Paige’s fledgling company a big chance, their still-sizzling chemistry starts giving her sleepless nights. But can she convince the man who trusts no one to take a chance on forever?

What did I think of this book:
I enjoyed reading this book. It is a feel good sort of chick lit type of book. The friendship between Paige, Eva and Frankie is a very good one with close bonds between the three. A type of friendship everyone wishes for. Then you have the side story of Paige and Jake and how their relationship unfolds. This is the first book I have read by this author and I really enjoyed her style of writing. The words just seem to float off the pages. As well as she has created some great characters - they seem so real. I will be checking out the rest of the books in this series.

  2. Thank you Angela for the intro to this new-to-me author! What interests me mostly about the book is that it is completely out of my usual sub-genre which is cozy mysteries. I need to expand my reading.
