My thoughts:
I have to start off saying I really enjoyed the setting of this book. Not only that it is set in the Everglades but Kody's family's historical home, not to mention the gang members are looking for a treasure. I thought the names they guys in the gang were a good tribute to old gangsters. Being a history buff like I am, I loved the historical information the author provided about the setting and it's connection with the mob. The author also threw in a little romance for us but it is overshadowed by the rest of the story. In conclusion this story was a quick but suspenseful book. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
