My thoughts

Let me start by saying that even though I have not read the entire rest of this series I was still able to enjoy this book. It was a nice light read for me even though there was some sadness and tough things the characters were going through. I was drawn to the book just by it's name along as lilacs are my favorite flowers then the story line drew me further in. The book was very heartwarming and makes me want to go back and read the entire series - which of course I will do. The characters in this book are people you love to be friends with and spend the day with. The way Kiera and Bryan play off each other was fun to watch. Of course the fall festival Irish stew cook off sounds like a good time too. I grew up in a small town and it was nothing like this one - had it been I maybe would have stayed. This is a feel good book that I recommend although don't do like me and start at the end of the series, start from the first one.
