What did I think of this book:
I fell in love with this book from the fist page. Jody Hedlund has a way of writing so that you are drawn in and feel as if you are a part of the story. Her descriptions of places and the character devlopment are so vivid that you become a part of the story. I have not heard of Martin and Katharina's story before reading this book. After reading I want to learn more. They truly did have a great love story. You can tell the author has done her research in writing this book. This is a fast paced book and you will find yourself losing time as you get engrossed in the story. I highly recommend this book to historical fiction fans.
