Book Blogger Hop May 19 - May 24th





How many books do you own? This can include books in your to-be-read (TBR) pile(s) and books you have already read that are on your keeper shelf.


This is a hard question for me to answer. I have most of my books listed in my book collectorz program and quite a few of them listed on my goodreads account but I don’t think either of them are an accurate account.  I only keep some of my books when I am done with them the rest I trade or giveaway. My tbr stack is only books that I own that I am waiting to read. I am guessing I have over 600 books easily. It is kind of scary when you think about how many books we actually have. A few I keep – anything I have about Laura Ingalls Wilder, Diana Gabaldon’s books, Sara Donati’s books and Laura Child’s books.
How many books do you have? What are a few of your favorites? I look forward to hearing your answers.

    It is a little scary when you tally up how many books you own --- I checked my number on LibraryThing and was a little startled (especially since I have a few that I realized I still need to log there). I'm at 1000+ .... which means I really should box up some of them. :)

      I agree it is scary when you see how many books you have, I have three bookshelves plus boxes of books. My mom buys books and gives them to me when done as well. I am sure I have more than what I said but I was just making an estimate, lol. I probably don't want to know what my true total is.

    Great question Angela!

    Looking around my home,.I think I have close to 400 books. This would include my to be read cozy mysteries, to be read romances, Christian Romances and Love Inspired books.
    Also included in this total would be my Debbie Macomber keeper shelf, love her books!
    I keep my book list on a spreadsheet, and have alot of these books in a cabinet and plastic totes.
    ** I also have a "few" books on my nook. =)
