    I'm going to really enjoy this. I love reading about women who rise above tragedy and succeed in life. There's something about this book that is just pulling me in. I'm relly looking forward to reading it.

    What a stunning book cover, I love Paris. I'm looking forward to reading this one, thank you for showcasing this book. The only other book I have read is Perfume: the scent or a murderer by Patrick Suskind. A creepy classic tale of the power of scent.

      Hi Amanda, I was so excited to see this book cover, too! The designer at St. Martin's Press (who, concidently, is also named Danielle), did a superb job of capturing the lushness of Danielle's creative endeavors, and the vintage look of the World War II era.

      And Suskind's Perfume stayed with me, too. A fine writer who really brought the sense of smell to life. But I like to think this novel has more pleasant aromas :)
